James Olayinka has joined League One side Cheltenham Town in a permanent transfer.
The 21-year-old midfielder had been a regular in our youth teams at all levels, since joining the club as a seven-year-old.
In recent seasons, James enjoyed two successful loan spells at League Two clubs. First, he gained promotion to League One with Northampton Town via the play-offs in 2019/20, playing in the final at Wembley, before joining Southend United and making 20 appearances in 2020/21.
In 2019, the Arsenal graduate was part of our first team squad for the pre-season tour to the US, scoring a stunning goal in a 3-0 win against Colorado Rapids.
