Arsene Wenger believes staging games behind closed doors due to the coronavirus pandemic could be detrimental to football should it continue in the long-term.

Speaking with beIN SPORT about the return of the Bundesliga, the former Arsenal boss said that games without fans would damage the 'show' of football.

However, with current concern over the safety and health of players and staff, should the current campaign resume this summer, it is believed that football could be played without spectators for the entirety of next season.
