Internationals: Pepe scores for Ivory Coast

Five of our first-team stars were in action for their countries over the weekend. Scroll down to find out how they got on:

Nicolas Pepe scored in Ivory Coast's 3-1 friendly win over DR Congo in Amiens. Wilfried Kanon gave the Elephants an early lead, before Pepe turned home Wilfried Zaha's cross for his fifth international goal on the stroke of half-time. Chadrac Akolo pulled one back but Wilfried Zaha secured the win in the fifth minute of stoppage time.

Lucas Torreira was also in international friendly action, playing the full 90 minutes in midfield to help Uruguay beat Peru 1-0 in Montevideo.
