Ian Wright slams Chelsea's deal for Mykhailo Mudryk... claiming the Blues paid £88.6m for a player 'they're going to put amongst their roster' - as the Arsenal legend admits the Gunners 'cannot compete' with them in the market

Ian Wright has criticised Chelsea's transfer deal for Ukrainian starlet Mykhailo Mudryk, insinuating that the Blues do not have a clear outline of what they want for the forward after finalising a £88.6million deal.

Arsenal legend Wright also admitted that his former club cannot compete with the financial muscle of Chelsea, having missed out on their primary target despite having agreed personal terms with the player.

Mikel Arteta claimed his side need to retain discipline in the transfer market after missing out on Mudryk, with Chelsea's Graham Potter also admitting that the club cannot just keep signing new players, after the player's on-pitch appearance.
