'I only ate it to wind up Arsenal fans - and it gave me indigestion': Sacked Roly Poly Goalie Sutton keeper insists no-one else cashed in on his stunt

Sutton goalie Wayne Shaw has today claimed that he only ate the pastry during their clash with Arsenal to 'wind up the Gunners' after they chanted 'who ate all the pies'.

He also claims no-one he knows made any money from the act, despite admitting he knew Sun Bets had offered odds of 8-1 on him eating on camera during the game.

The keeper, who was sacked after the game, also revealed that the meat pasty - which he was given for free at the ground - gave him indigestion.
