England boss Gareth Southgate has urged Folarin Balogun to be patient if he is to represent the Three Lions.

Balogun, who is enjoying a superb season at club level while on loan at Reims from Arsenal, withdrew from the latest England Under-21 squad citing an injury.

He has since been pictured in the United States, where he was born, and has been seen attending an Orlando Magic basketball game and a New York Yankees baseball match.

The youngster is still to make a decision on his international future amid suggestions he could play for the USA.
