We suffered our first defeat of the season with a 3-2 loss away to Manchester City in the Barclays Women’s Super League.
Khadija Shaw put City into the lead in the 36th minute, but we came flying out of the traps in the second half and equalised by way of Mariona Caldentey.
Kerstin Casparij restored City’s lead but Chloe Kelly, on as a substitute against her former side, netted our second equaliser.
It wasn’t enough though, with Iman Beney putting City back in front late on.
