Former Arsenal star Andrey Arshavin's wife 'threatened to chop off a model's fingers' after footballer was filmed cuddling the scantily-dressed blonde at a restaurant

The wife of former Arsenal star Andrey Arshavin allegedly threatened to assault a model after the latter was filmed cosying up to the Russian footballer.

Alisa Arshavina, 35, reportedly contacted Olga Semenova after she was filmed with Arshavin, in a restaurant in Almaty, Kazakhstan where he now plays for a local team.

Ms Semenova claims Mrs Arshravina threatened to cut off her fingers and report her to Russian police for drugs possession.

The footage emerged on social media, showing 36-year-old Arshavin, who played for Arsenal from 2009 to 2013, with his arms around the curvaceous model.
