Xabi Alonso's Bayer Leverkusen have gone 10 points clear of Bayern Munich at the top of the Bundesliga table after they secured a 2-0 victory against FC Koln in Sunday afternoon's Rhine Derby at the RheinEnergieSTADION.
With Bayern Munich drawing 2-2 to Freiburg on Friday afternoon, it looks as though the Bundesliga title may be quickly slipping away from Thomas Tuchel's side.
Leverkusen, meanwhile, have enjoyed a sensational season, going unbeaten in all tournaments and today, thanks to goals from Jeremie Frimpong and Alejandro Grimaldo, have moved even closer to clinching their first ever Bundesliga title.
