Former Arsenal defender Gilles Grimandi has leaped to Arsene Wenger's defence by launching a rant at critical club legends including Thierry Henry.
The Gunners lost 2-1 at Brighton on Sunday for their fourth successive defeat in all competitions, a run which saw them lose the Carabao Cup final and leaves them 13 points behind neighbours Tottenham — who are fourth in the Premier League.
That defeat has further increased the heat on Wenger and led to criticism from the likes of Henry, who recently would say 'yes' to Arsenal if they ask him to replace the under-fire Frenchman.
