England U19 4-0 Serbia U19: Tottenham striker Dane Scarlett scores twice as young Three Lions seal Euros semi-final spot with emphatic win in Slovakia... with Ian Foster's side also booking their place at 2023 U20 World Cup after making last four

Tottenham striker Dane Scarlett scored a first-half brace as England U19's qualified for the semi-finals of the U19 Euros with an emphatic victory against Serbia.

The 18-year-old opened the scoring after good work from Borussia Dortmund's Jamie Bynoe-Gittens and Aston Villa's Carney Chukwuemeka, which allowed the Spurs youngster to slot home past Ognjen Lukic.

Scarlett then doubled his tally by poking home at the near post after Lukic had spilled Arsenal defender Brooke Norton-Cuffy's inviting cross.

England goalkeeper Matthew Cox was kept busy though, making a fine stop from Nikola Knezevic in the first half before making further saves from an improved Serbia side in the second.
