The road to the rescheduled Rugby League World Cup 2021 (RLWC2021) has recommenced with organisers confirming the 61-match schedule will begin on October 15, 2022.
The global event had previously been postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic but all 32 teams across the 21 nations participating in the men’s, women’s and wheelchair competitions have fully committed to the tournament.
Emirates Stadium will host one of the semi-finals taking place on Saturday, November 12 and general admission tickets and hospitality packages for all 61 matches will go back on-sale on Friday, November 19 from 9am.
Jon Dutton, RLWC2021 chief executive officer, said: “For everyone involved in this trailblazing tournament, today is a very important and exciting milestone on our journey to 2022.
