Dowman becomes youngest Champions League player

Max Dowman made yet more history against Slavia Prague as he became the youngest player ever to feature in the Champions League.

Having already become the second-youngest player in Premier League history when he featured against Leeds United in August, last week saw him become the youngest player to start a game for our men's first-team when he was named in the side that beat Brighton & Hove Albion in the League Cup.

But after being introduced from the bench in the 72nd minute during our 3-0 success in Prague, Max has become the first 15-year-old to play in the competition since it was rebranded in 1992.
