Declan Rice will mark his 50th appearance for England by wearing the captain's armband when he takes to the field to face Belgium on Tuesday night.
The news was confirmed by Three Lions boss Gareth Southgate ahead of the friendly at Wembley Stadium, on what is England's final game before Southgate names his squad for Euro 2024.
Declan, who played all 90 minutes of Saturday's 1-0 defeat to Brazil, will lead his nation for the first time on his half-century, having making his debut against Macedonia almost exactly five years to the day he'll win cap 50.
