DC United 'hold fresh talks with Mesut Ozil's representatives as MLS side eye signing Arsenal midfielder in 2021'

American side DC United have revived their interest in Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil.

Officials from the MLS side were in London on Tuesday to meet with representatives of the player, according to the Washington Post.

Ozil was substituted after just 55 minutes of Tuesday's 2-2 draw against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

DC United first made contact with Ozil in August as they chased a marque name to replace Derby bound Wayne Rooney.
