Sam Allardyce has not given up on signing Arsenal defender Carl Jenkinson.
Crystal Palace's negotiations for the right-back hit a snag over personal terms, with the player asking for more money than the club are prepared to pay.
But Allardyce, who took over at the club in December and is tasked with keeping them in the Premier League, said: 'Until the chairman rings me up and says it's dead it's still on-going for me. The chairman will let me know.'

Allardyce revealed he missed out on signing Hull City midfielder Jake Livermore, who opted to move to West Bromwich Albion in a £10million transfer on Thursday.
