Chelsea show interest in Arsenal striker Folarin Balogun as Monaco and Fulham weigh up offers for £50m-rated hotshot... with the Blues also submitting £15m bid for New England Revolution keeper Djordje Petrovic

Chelsea held talks on Friday over Arsenal's £50million-rated striker Folarin Balogun who also has Monaco and Fulham weighing up new offers.

The 22-year-old impressed on loan at Reims last season as he scored 22 goals and he could now depart permanently.

The Gunners slapped a hefty price tag on the USA international after he enjoyed a successful spell at in France with Stade Reims last season.

Fulham are also considering a move for Balogun as they prepare to sell Aleksandar Mitrovic to Al-Hilal.

But the Cottagers are only willing to pay a maximum of £35m.
