Brighton are reportedly looking for a fee in excess of £100m for Moises Caicedo after seeing the fee that Arsenal and West Ham have agreed for Declan Rice.
Caicedo is a top target for Chelsea this summer and was also wanted by Arsenal before they switched their focus to Rice.
The Rice transfer saga finally came to a conclusion this week with the Gunners agreeing to pay £105m with only £5m coming in add-ons.
The Seagulls view Caicedo as being in the same bracket as the England midfielder and also point to the fact that he is three years younger.
