Stina Blackstenius has won the Emirates Goal of the Month award for May with her UEFA Women’s Champions League winner.
After coming on in the second half of our clash with Barcelona in Lisbon, our Swedish striker was in the right place to receive the ball from Beth Mead and slot it into the bottom left corner, securing our first European cup since 2007.
The importance of her goal meant Stina won May’s competition with 77% of the vote.
Kieran Tierney came second with his goal away to Southampton, while Declan Rice’s goal against Newcastle United was third.
