But even though his life has undergone a massive change off the pitch, his focus has remained just as sharp on it. He says he loved his close season and fully realises the importance of it.
“To be honest, I enjoy training and I enjoy the work of pre-season, so it was a good summer. I think it’s really good to test yourself and see what levels you can reach in pre-season.
You know it’s a really important time, because it gives you your starting point for the whole season. You want to get ahead and then bring it into the new season as soon as you can.
