Bayern Munich president appears to rule out signing Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal by saying there is 'no policy' in signing older players for big money

Bayern Munich president Uli Hoeness has seemingly ruled the German club out of signing Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal.

Speaking to Kicker, Hoeness outlined how Bayern's transfer strategy is to build a side for the future by signing promising young players rather than '29 or 30 year-olds'.

Sanchez, 28, has one year remaining on his Arsenal contract but has doubts over his future after the Gunners failed to qualify for the Champions League.
