Arsene Wenger believes PSG's decision to reject Real Madrid's £154m bid last summer shows they are STILL hopeful of convincing Kylian Mbappe to stay... despite the star striker's deal in Paris expiring this summer

Paris Saint-Germain's decision to turn down a £154million bid from Real Madrid for Kylian Mbappe last summer proves they still believe they can convince their star striker to sign a new deal, according to Arsene Wenger.

Mbappe is into the final few months of his deal at the Parc des Princes and many expect him to head to Real Madrid on a free come the summer.

But former Arsenal boss Wenger, while he concedes the French league leaders are running out of time, thinks that there remains a chance he is convinced to stay in Paris for the long-term.
