Former Manchester United defender Nemanja Vidic believes Arsenal are lucky to be in the top seven of the Premier League given their defensive record.
Arsenal have now lost five away games in succession in the league after Newcastle came from behind to pile more misery on Arsene Wenger's men with a 2-1 victory.
Wenger's side have now conceded 45 goals this season, 16 more than seventh-placed Burnley and Vidic has claimed it is the only thing stopping them from mounting a title tilt.
'They have to learn to defend,' Vidic told Sky Sports after the match at St James' Park.
