Arsenal v Yeovil - The Brief

We have the opportunity to record back-to-back wins in the Women’s Super League on Wednesday when we host Yeovil Town at Meadow Park.

THE STORY SO FAR

We’re currently second in the WSL table on 33 points, having picked up 11 wins from 13 outings. Manchester City are the league leaders, but only as a result of playing two more games than us.

During our most recent WSL fixture, we ran out comfortable 3-0 winners over Reading, thanks to goals from Vivianne Miedema, Kim Little and Katie McCabe.

Miedema’s opener proved to be a record-breaking goal, as she became the first-ever player to score 16 times in a single WSL season, before Little converted from the spot and McCabe found the top left corner from 25 yards.
