Arsenal transfer latest: Gunners midfielder set to leave on loan

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is interested in loaning out 19-year-old midfielder Gedion Zelalem to VVV-Venlo.

The Dutch second division club, according to De Telegraaf, are expecting to know whether they can take the player within the next 24 hours.

The youngster, who spent the 2015/16 campaign on loan at Rangers, has clocked just 17 minutes over two appearances for Arsenal this season, with both of those coming in the EFL Cup.

And Wenger is keen to loan him out for the remainder of the season so that he can gain vital first team experience.
