Arsenal 'target Sevilla's Joan Jordan in £32million January move'... as Mikel Arteta plots to inject more quality into his stuttering midfield

Arsenal have a mountain to climb to salvage something from the 2020-21 season, so Mikel Arteta is eyeing-up Sevilla's Juan Jordan to help them recover.

The north Londoners beat rivals Chelsea on Boxing Day in a huge boost for Arteta, whose side were on a humiliating seven-game winless run in the Premier League, leaving them still 15th.

Arteta will hope to build on the derby confidence boost in 2021, and wants to inject life into the Gunners midfield with a new playmaker.
