Arsenal supporters boycott the Emirates in their thousands in anti-Arsene Wenger protest

There was a time when watching Arsenal was the hottest ticket in town. Not any more.

Stood in his technical area before kick-off, Arsene Wenger would have surveyed the landscape before him and thought: ‘how has it come to this?’.

Disgruntled Arsenal fans voted with their feet last night. Two supporter groups followed through with their threat to boycott Tuesday’s clash against Sunderland in protest against the club’s alarming plight under Wenger.
