Arsenal signing Martin Odegaard fires back at Spanish press after permanent move from Real Madrid

Martin Odegaard has slammed sections of the Spanish media for writing misleading stories about his time at Real Madrid following his £30million move to Arsenal.

Over six years after signing for Madrid when he had barely turned 16 years old, Odegaard severed ties with the club on Friday by sealing a permanent move to Arsenal following last season's loan spell at the Emirates Stadium.

The Norway captain became Real's youngest ever player in May 2015 when he came off the bench to replace Cristiano Ronaldo in a LaLiga game against Getafe and big things were expected of him.
