Arsenal reportedly paid Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang a lump sum of near-£7million to terminate his £350,000-a-week Gunners contract and facilitate his move to Barcelona on Tuesday.
The 32-year-old left Arsenal on a free transfer and is believed to have taken a pay-cut to join the Catalan giants, with a formal presentation expected to take place later today.
In a manner similar to Mesut Ozil previously, Arsenal have again ripped up the contract of their top earner, with The Times saying it cost the north London club nearly £7m to do so with the Gabon striker.
