Unai Emery assured Arsenal fans the club are pushing to sign ‘big, expensive’ players and confirmed he wants to bring in up to four new faces.
Boss Emery delivered an upbeat message about Arsenal’s transfer plans ahead of their pre-season friendly against Bayern Munich in LA in the early hours of Thursday morning, insisting he is being very demanding of the club.
Emery has made one signing so far this summer, 18 year-old Brazilian forward Gabriel Martinelli for £6m from Ituano.

They have also had bids for top targets, Crystal Palace’s Wilfried Zaha and Celtic’s Kieran Tierney rejected, are battling north London rivals Tottenham for both St Etienne defender William Saliba and to sign Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos on loan.
