Arsenal are still open to letting Carl Jenkinson leave the club despite a hitch over a potential move to Crystal Palace.
Manager Arsene Wenger believes he already has too many other players in the full-back’s position and does not want to stand in the way of him playing elsewhere.
Terms for a permanent deal, worth around £7million, had been agreed between the two clubs earlier this month but Palace baulked at the player’s wage demands.

Wenger does not consider the move completely off but is also willing to let the player leave either permanently or on loan to other clubs.
