Arsenal legend Sol Campbell throws his hat in to become USA manager as he advises them to go in a 'different direction' following World Cup failure

Sol Campbell has revealed his interest in becoming the next manager of the USA's national football team despite never actually holding a managerial position in the game.

The former defender had an esteemed playing career with Arsenal and England but has yet to take charge of a team at any level. Regardless, he suggested he could be the one to take the USA in a different direction.

Bruce Arena left his post after they failed to qualify for next summer's World Cup and Campbell urged the decision makers to think outside the box when looking for their next manager.
