Former Arsenal midfielder Robert Pires backed Arsene Wenger for a swift return to management.
Wenger has been out of work since ending his 22-year association with Arsenal in the summer.
Yet the ex-winger is convinced his former boss will take up another role before too long.
Pires said: 'I saw Arsene recently at the leaders sports awards in London where he received a lifetime achievement award and he was very happy, content but you can see he is looking for a challenge.
'He loves football so much I cant see him being out of the game for long.
