The Arsenal Kicks team headed to Manchester for the 2018 Premier League Kicks Cup on Thursday, April 12, where 89 teams representing 64 professional football clubs took part in a six-a-side competition.
The Premier League Kicks Cup is the culmination of a season-long community programme which enables those who traditionally do not participate in organised sporting activities, giving them access to coaching, facilities and equipment.
Now in its 12th year, Premier League Kicks is delivered by 69 professional football clubs and has engaged 245,845 young people.
The programme’s aim was to give young people an opportunity to have fun playing football and to develop their skills and confidence through football with a view to creating safer, stronger and more respectful communities.
