Arsenal goalkeeper Bernd Leno boosted by pep talk from Gunners legend Jens Lehmann after he revealed Mikel Arteta has given him 'no clear reason' why he's lost his No 1 spot to Aaron Ramsdale

Arsenal goalkeeper Bernd Leno received a phone call from Gunners legend Jens Lehmann to check he was OK after the German lost his No 1 spot to Aaron Ramsdale.

Lehmann, 52, and Leno, 29, were both at Stuttgart during the 2009/2010 season and have kept in touch ever since.

Gunners boss Mikel Arteta made Ramsdale his first-choice stopper after signing him from Sheffield United in a £24million deal in the summer.
