Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez's FA Cup opener was correctly awarded... Anthony Taylor stayed nice and calm

Alexis Sanchez scored a hotly-disputed opener for Arsenal against Chelsea in the FA Cup final, as Arsene Wenger's side made the perfect start to the Wembley showpiece.

Sanchez's strike - his 30th in all competitions this season - was shrouded in controversy as assistant referee Gary Beswick initially waved his flag for offside with Aaron Ramsey beyond the last defender.

The official Anthony Taylor went across to speak with his assistant, as Chelsea defenders David Luiz and Gary Cahill swarmed around him, but after a brief consultation he awarded the goal.
