Arsenal bolster scouting ranks by appointing former Bayern Munich supremo Florian Bluchel who spent a decade working with the German giants

Arsenal have bolstered their scouting department ranks after appointing former Bayern Munich scout Florian Bluchel.

Bluchel's background saw him work for a decade with the German giants where he became head of technical scouting as well as a youth team video analyst.

As an international scout at the club he prioritised much of his work in players involved in the Spanish, Italian, Polish, Czech, German and North American systems.

Arsenal technical director Edu and manager Mikel Arteta have been keen to revamp the scouting network at the club

According to Football London, the 37-year-old joins a scouting network at the Gunners that already include former Manchester City and Manchester United scout Romain Poirot as well as James Ellis, once of Fulham, and Toni Lima who was also at United as well as Inter Milan.
