Arsenal and Real Madrid agree to charity matches between legends as stars including Robert Pires and Raul help unveil games in Spanish capital

Having failed to qualify for the Champions League last season, Arsenal will be hoping that Europa League success could see them playing at stadiums like the Bernabeu again soon.

But a trip to European big guns such as Real Madrid will come sooner rather than later for the north London club after the two sides agreed to meet for a charity match at Los Blancos in the summer.

In an event held by Madrid, club president Florentino Perez helped reveal the June 3 friendly which will raise funds towards the Real Madrid Foundation in aid of children in need.
