Academy goalkeeper Alexei Rojas yesterday addressed Reclaim, a special weekend hosted at the Eden Project focused on mental health and planetary wellbeing. Alexei spoke alongside Elliot Arthur-Worsop, founder of Football For Future, as the two discussed the role of football in sustainability.
Alexei is an environmental champion for our Academy, having played a major role in our move to remove single-use plastic from Hale End, as well as introducing compostable packaging and better means of recycling and waste sorting across our sites.
“It’s so inspiring to be at the Eden Project and hear the different points of view on what is one of the most pressing issues in our world,” Alexei told us.
