Ajax have issued a 'hands off' warning to their European rivals after director of football Marc Overmars put pen to paper on a contract extension to remain with the Dutch giants.
Former Arsenal and Barcelona star Overmars, 48, has flourished in his role with the Eredivisie side since 2012, helping develop and sell on the likes of Frenkie de Jong, Matthijs de Ligt and Hakim Ziyech during his tenure.
As a result, reports have linked Overmars with similar positions with the Gunners and Barca, as well as Newcastle - with the Magpies desperate for a football director following their £305million takeover.
