Ajax have appointed transfer specialist Sven Mislintat as their new Director of Football.
The German worked as Head of Scouting at Borussia Dortmund for over a decade, a period that saw them bring in the likes of Robert Lewandowski, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Mats Hummels.
He also spent two years at Arsenal as Head of Recruitment and was recently back in the Bundesliga as Sporting Director at VFB Stuttgart.
Mislintat has now now joined the Dutch champions, taking a role that has been vacant since Marc Overmars' departure earlier this year.
