Southampton have completed the loan signing of Ainsley Maitland-Niles from Arsenal.
The versatile 25 year-old has secured his move to the south coast in a deal that includes an option for Southampton to buy as Arsenal look to shift unwanted talent.
Maitland-Niles was eager to depart the Emirates this season with him not in the plans of Gunners boss Mikel Arteta following his side's unbeaten start to the Premier League season.
The midfielder spent last season on loan at Jose Mourinho's Roma where he made 12 appearances for the Serie A side before returning to London.
