Mesut Ozil's agent has admitted that the midfielder's end to his Arsenal career was 'difficult'.

After falling out of favour with Mikel Arteta, Ozil was left out of Arsenal's Premier League and Europa League squads for the first half of the 2020-21 season.

Ozil took to Instagram to express his disappointment with the decision and ended up signing for Fenerbahce in January 2021 after his Arsenal contact was terminated.
