WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army West Point volleyball team beat Lafayette in three sets Friday night at Gillis Field House. The Black Knights swept the Leopards with set scores of 25-17, 25-14 and 25-18.
"I am very proud of the team's performance tonight," said head coach Alma Kovaci. "Our serve and pass game tonight was on point. I was proud of our ball control. Vanessa Edwards ran a really good offense. Jaden and Vanessa Wesley were incredible tonight which was a result of our good passing. That is something we have been working on in practice that we wanted to get stronger at and tonight it clicked.
