Spirited Practices Start Second Week

WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army West Point football team opened the first of three double sessions on Monday with a full pads practice in the morning, followed by a lighter shells session in the evening.

The morning practice began with special teams work, including field goals and drills featuring punt return blocking. The team then broke off into positional groups within the offense and defense.
The Black Knights competed in two 11-on-11 drills with the defense winning the first session by a 15-8 score. The second session featured a drive format and the defense stopped the offense on the first drive, while the offense scored on its next possession.
