PRINCETON, N.J. – Bailey Widman scored early, but Princeton responded with four goals to knock off the Army West Point women's soccer team on Wednesday night at Roberts Stadium.
Army (4-8-1) quickly secured the lead with a goal in the sixth minute. Sophomore Clare Shea controlled the ball in the corner for the visiting Black Knights before sending a short pass to senior Katie Holder. Holder turned and let loose a low cross toward classmate Bailey Widman, who held her position nicely in front of the penalty spot.
