WEST POINT, N.Y. - Senior wide receiver Edgar Poe was selected as the Army Athletic Association Athlete of the Week after his performance in the win over Wake Forest.
Poe finished with a career high 122 receiving yards on four catches and scored Army's first touchdown of the afternoon in the 21-13 come-from-behind win against the Demon Deacons. It was the third 100-yard receiving game for Poe, who had reached the mark twice last season.
He hauled in a 43-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Ahmad Bradshaw to put the Black Knights up midway through the first quarter.
