PHILADELPHIA – The Army football team dropped a heartbreaking 21-17 decision to No. 21/22 Navy in the 116th Edition of the Army-Navy Game presented by USAA on Saturday afternoon from Lincoln Financial Field.
The Black Knights held a 17-14 advantage at halftime and the Midshipmen scored the lone touchdown in the second half to claim the victory.
Army's passing game highlighted the offense, as Chris Carter finished the night with 208 yards through the air, going 9-for-15 with one touchdown. Edgar Poe set new career-highs with five catches for 121 yards and a touchdown.
