OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – Army West Point women's basketball senior guard Kelsey Minato was one of 30 NCAA women's basketball student-athletes named as a candidate for the 2015-16 Senior CLASS Award in collegiate basketball.
To be eligible for the award, a student-athlete must be classified as an NCAA Division I senior and have notable achievements in four areas of excellence: community, classroom, character and competition.
One of four team captains this season, Minato has played and started in all 111 games since arriving at the Academy prior to the 2012-13 season. She is a three-time All-Patriot League first-team selection and has twice collected Patriot League Player of the Year honors.
