ANNAPOLIS, MD – Army West Point men's track & field finished in third-place at the Patriot League Indoor Championships hosted by Navy.
Cam Smith made waves on day one, setting a new Patriot League, facility and Academy record with his 21.53m weight throw.
Army's 4x400 team of Mitchell Burr, Caden Smith, Kasen Jeitz and Luke Griner went on to set a facility record and win the event with a 7:29.71s mark.
Both Burr and Griner continued to impress on day two, as Griner set a new meet record to win the 800m behind a time of 1:49.
